What is email authentication?

Email authentication enables the ISPs of your recipients to check the identify and authenticity of the sender. This is a crucial line of defence in fighting spam and communications with malicious content or intent. ISPs set up a series of filters, like tests, to block suspicious emails. Email authentication is really important because the larger ISPs use authentication to detect and fight spam. They do this by checking that the server sending the email is a legitimate one and that the reputation of that server is high. By adding automatic email authentication, MailChatter is helping you to bypass some of the filters which, in turn, means that your emails are more likely to reach your recipients' inboxes and more likely to be trusted by them and opened.
